“Cinema“ — a collection of 20th-century world hits featuring legendary actors — the symbols of the age and the idols of millions.
The channel, which was launched as a European cinema channel, but after the first year of its life, due to the limited choice of content, it was decided to supplement the channel with Hollywood action films and comedies.

It was a pleasure to work on the aesthetics of the channel - I really love movies and TV series. The logo came up pretty quickly, as the storyline was very much on the surface. It was the opening curtain inviting you to watch the show, the typography inscribed in a square, like the old neon signs of the old Los Angeles movie theaters and the beam of light highlighting the name in the negative space.
This is how the channel's identikit looks like. It's obvious how well the logo works as a neon sign.
